SANTA CLARITA: Brush Fire

At approximately 1616, LACoFD responded to reports of a brush fire. Arriving untis found about 5 acres of brush threatening multiple structures and condo complexes. Firefighters aggressively battled the fire from the ground and the air. The fire damaged 11 units. 3 firefighters were transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is unknown. It is unknown how many residents have been displaced by the fire. LACoFD is remaining on scene throughout the night to monitor for hotspots and flareups.
