SAN BERNARDINO: On Saturday, August 18th, around 3:35am, CHP Riverside was in pursuit of a motorcycle at speeds of 130mph. The pursuit originated in Riverside County, and entered San Bernardino County on the 215 freeway Northbound. The motorcyclist lost control, and a solo motorcycle collision occurred at high speeds on the 215 freeway northbound, north of the 10 freeway, in the city of San Bernardino. The motorcycle caught fire, and quickly became fully engulfed. The suspect was moved to safety, and was tended to by first responders. CHP officers extinguished the fire, and moved a majority of the motorcycle out of lanes. The suspect was transported to a local area hospital in an unknown condition. An unconfirmed report is that the motorcycle was stolen out of Canada.
