COLTON, CALIFORNIA – On Tuesday January 5th, at approximately 3:45 PM Colton Fire and Colton PD responded to a male that was shot in the parking lot at 1608 E Washington St. When Colton PD arrived on the scene, officers located one male victim in the parking lot suffering from an unknown number of gunshot wounds next to an SUV with front end damage. Firefighters started CPR on the victim and he was transported to a local hospital where he pronounced deceased. Witnesses at the scene claim to have heard 10-20 gunshots. The shooting appears to be road rage related. No other information was provided on the scene. Colton PD is handling the investigation. half of the parking lot will be closed while Colton PD investigates the Shooting
