Late Thursday night, January 02, 2020, a victim of a shooting was reportedly dropped off at Riverside Community Hospital. The shooting is believed to have occurred in the 2700 block of Pleasant Street in the City’s Eastside neighborhood, shortly after 11:00pm. According to an unconfirmed report by an area resident, a dark colored car pulled along side another car and shot at the occupants of that car. At least one person inside the car was struck by the gunfire and self transported to Riverside Community Hospital in unknown condition. Pleasant Street was closed between Grove and Forest while officers conducted their investigation. No further details were immediately available.
