Late Saturday night November 17, 2018 the City of Riverside Fire Department received multiple reports of a house fire in the City’s “Wood Streets” area. The fire was reported around 11:05pm in the 4000 block of Linwood Place. While Firefighters were enroute, the Riverside Police Department’s Air Support Team, advised they were overhead and the residence was fully engulfed. First arriving resources located a single story, single family dwelling with fire coming from three sides. Firefighters made an aggressive fire attack and were able to contain the blaze to the one home and had the fire knocked down within 15 minutes. One occupant was transported to an area hospital for unknown injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No further details were immediately available.
