SOUTH LA – A suspected marijuana grow house somehow caught on fire in a residential neighborhood near the intersection of Vernon and Crocker St. It is not known at this time how the house caught on fire or if the homeowner was operating illegally. LAFD is working with LAPD to find some answers.
The owner of the house can be seen in the video arguing with police officers. Also, a woman who obviously knew the male homeowner tried to drive her vehicle to the house, at which time tried to drive over the water supply hoses and became stuck in the middle of the operation.
