AZUSA – The Ranch Fire came very close to homes along Highwood Court and Mountain Laurel Way in the gated community. At 11:30 pm all residents that were evacuated earlier during the day were allowed to go home. The fire grew to about 6000 acres and is continuing to burn. No houses inside the gated community along San Gabriel Canyon Road were damaged.
