ROCKAWAY, Queens – Police were dispersing a disorderly crowd at Redford Ave & Hassock St around 10:30 pm Friday night when a 15-year-old male fired into the dispersing crowd. The officers ordered the teenager to drop the gun. He did not, which prompted the officers to discharge their weapons. The teenager and officers were all transported in stable condition to hospital. A S&W handgun was recovered on the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
