QUEENS: Pedestrian Killed

1.1.20 | Video by Richard Tse | QUEENS (DCPI) – On January 1, 2020, at approximately 1751 hours, police responded to a call of a pedestrian struck in the vicinity of Parsons Boulevard and Northern Boulevard within the confines of the 109 Precinct. Upon arrival, police preliminarily determined that a 74-year-old female was crossing Northern Boulevard in front of 141 25 Northern Boulevard when she was struck by a 2015 Jeep Cherokee traveling westbound on Northern Boulevard. EMS responded and transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The driver, a 43-year-old male, remained at the scene. No arrests have been made and the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is Investigating.
