QUEENS: 3 Killed in Elmhurst Fire

7.10.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | ELMHURST, Queens (DCPI) – On Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at approximately 1611 hours, police responded to a call of a fire at 23-49 93rd Street within the confines of the 115th Precinct. FDNY personnel also responded and removed, a 76-year-old male, a 35-year-old female, a 23-year-old male a 6-year-old female and a 10-month-old male from inside the location. EMS responded and transported the 76-year-old male to New York Presbyterian Hospital- Queens where he was pronounced deceased. Both the 35-year-old female and 10-month-old male were transported to Cornell Hospital in critical condition. The 23-year-old male and the 6-year-old female victim were pronounced deceased at the scene. The FDNY Fire Marshal will determine the cause of the fire and the investigation is ongoing.
