Pool Hiding Pursuit Suspect Caught Wet Handed | DIAMOND BAR, CA 12.11.20

DIAMOND BAR, CALIFORNIA – The California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station attempted to pull over a black motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on the 10 freeway at the northbound 57 fwy transition. The motorcycle did not stop and a pursuit started northbound 57 fwy at Via Verde at speeds of 90+ mph. CHP lost the suspect around the northbound 57 freeway and Arrow Highway in the city of San Dimes. CHP located the motorcycle again, now traveling southbound 57 at Covina Blvd. The pursuit started back up southbound 57 fwy speeds of 90 to 100 mph. The suspect exited at Temple Avenue blacked out. The suspect continued into a residential area where he crashed at Highcrest Dr and Gold Rush Dr. The suspect took off on foot into a backyard of a residence. He then jumped into another backyard and jumped into a pool. The suspect finally came out of the pool and was taken into custody by California Highway Patrol. Unknown at the time why the suspect fled from officers. No officers or the suspect were injured during the pursuit.
