Perp Draws Gun on Cop, Gets Shot | San Bernardino, California

SAN BERNARDINO (LoudLabs News) – On Thursday night, October 22, 2020, captured on camera, a San Bernardino police officer shot a man after a brief struggle. The shooting occurred outside King Tut Liquor store located at 279 E. Baseline Street around 11:30pm. According to Police, officers responded to reports of a man acting erratically, jumping on a car parked in front of the store. The first arriving officer immediately located the man and a brief struggle ensued. During the struggle the man pulled a handgun from his pocket at which time the officer fired four times at the suspect, striking him multiple times. The suspect was transported to an area hospital where he later was pronounced deceased. The video obtained by LoudLabs News shows the struggle and the moment the officer involved shooting occurred. The video also shows a black object, later identified as a 9mm hand gun, in the suspects right hand.
