BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA – On early Thursday morning November 12, 2020 the Los Angeles County Fire Department along with Baldwin Park PD and California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station, responded to a person laying in lanes of the northbound Puente Ave at Calino Ave. Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene they located a person that was laying in the number one lane that had been struck by a vehicle. Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced the person dead on scene. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene in an unknown direction. Unknown at this time which way the victim was walking on Puente Avenue before being struck by the vehicle. The victim was pushing a basket with personal items inside when struck.
