BELLFLOWER, CALIFORNIA – A single vehicle spinout has a closure on the eastbound 91 freeway at Downey Ave for a fatal collision investigation. CHP is working hard to clear the area but expects the closure to be in place for the next 3-4 hours due to the fatality. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes if possible as the on ramp to EB 91 FWY is closed as well as the #5 lane from Downey Ave to Lakewood Blvd. The driver was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. CHP is investigating and LACo Coroner is on scene.
