Ontario Multiple Cars On Fire at Hotel during Anime LA

ONTARIO On Sunday January 13th 2019, around 1:50am, Ontario Fire Department responded to reports of multiple vehicles on fire in the parking lot of the Azure Hotel & Suites. Ontario Police and Fire Department arrived on scene to find at least three vehicles on fire. Fire crews made an aggressive attack, and knocked down the fire within the half hour of being on scene. The fire is possibly arson related. Police had a subject in custody in the back of a patrol car. However, police are unable to confirm to me at this time if the person they have detained, is the suspect related to the car fires. The hotel was evacuated, as the fire alarm was audible. Several hotel patrons can be seen outside of the hotel. Several hotel patrons are staying at the hotel while attending the Anime Los Angele 2019 event at the Ontario Convention Center. The fire is under investigation.
