ONTARIO: Triple Shooting Two Dead at Apartment Complex

Late Monday night, January 13, 2020, the City of Ontario Fire Department along with the Ontario Police Department & AMR responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex. The shooting was reported around 11:30pm at the Vistara Apartments in the 3400 block of E. 4th Street. According to a crime broadcast, two victims were shot at the complex and the suspect(s) fled before officers arrived. Police seemed to be focusing their investigation on the third floor of building 3480 as well as the parking area to the rear of the building. Area residents say this area is normally quiet and to hear gunshots is pretty shocking. No further information was immediately available as Police at the scene declined to comment.
