JURUPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – Early Sunday morning, February 28, 2021 the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department along with Cal Fire / Riverside County Fire and AMR responded to reports of a person shot at an off-road event in the Santa Ana River. The shooting was reported just after midnight on Market Street and the Santa Ana River. The victims friends drove the victim to Market Street and Via Cerro in their off-road vehicle where deputies and medical-aid met them. The male victim was transported via ground ambulance to an area hospital in unknown condition. What led up to the shooting wasn’t immediately known. No further details were available.
