BELL GARDENS – The Orange County Sheriff was in pursuit of a sedan for an issue with the vehicles license plate. The driver did not immediately pull over and a pursuit ensued. The driver took city streets from Stanton to the 5 freeway where the driver entered the southbound freeway. The driver took authorities down the 5 freeway into Tustin where he exited Jamboree and turned back around to come back north on the 5. The driver then took CHP units from Tustin to Bell Gardens with speed in excess of 100 mph. The male driver transitioned to the 91 and the 710 freeways where he then exited at Florence Ave. and pulled the car over to give up peacefully. The CHP is investigating.
