NORTH HOLLYWOOD: Tree Fires

*Time* – 0015 *Location* – NB170, Magnolia Offramp *Handling Agencies* – LAFD, CHP West Valley
At approximately 0015, LAFD and CHP responded to multiple reports of trees on fire on the side of the NB170 Magnolia Offramp. Arriving units found about 8 palm trees on fire, with embers and hot debris blowing onto the fire. firefighters were able to contain the fire from spreading. CHP shut down part of the freeway due to the amount of vehicles stopping to avoid the hot debris on the freeway. The cause of the fire is unknown.
