At approximately 2230, LAPD and LAFD responded to reports of a traffic collision with persons trapped at Victory & Whitsett. Arriving units found an SUV that had struck a tree, with the driver of the vehicle trapped inside.The victim was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The cause of the crash is unknown. LAPD has the WB Lanes of Victory blocked off from Whitsett. LAPD Valley Traffic Division is handling the incident.
