Police Looking For Female Suspect Who Pushed Woman Into Train Tracks

NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified female who is seen in the attached photos and video and is sought in connection with an assault in Transit within the confines of the 42 Precinct/ Transit District 12 (Bronx) Details are as follows: It was reported to police that on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at approximately 0750 hours on the platform of the 174 Street Station (2/5 Lines), an unidentified female pushed the victim, a 54-year-old female, onto the track roadbed. The victim suffered cuts and bruising to her hands and pain to her body. She extricated herself from the track roadbed with the assistance of a male Good Samaritan and was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. The unidentified female fled on foot, exiting the subway system, and continuing northbound on Southern Boulevard. Video shows the unidentified female, street level in the vicinity of the incident location shortly after the incident. She is also seen inside of a grocery/bodega located at 1718 Southern Boulevard shortly after the incident.
