6.26.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn – A FDNY EMS Gator caught fire during scorching summer heat. According to sources we spoke to, a FDNY EMS crew was driving the Polaris Gator when the fuel lines burst and shot a fire ball out from under the crew. The crew immediately took action and got themselves away from the vehicle and got beach goers to do the same. Firefighters were on the scene shortly to extinguish the flames. No one was injured from the vehicle fire.
