Caught on Camera: Jewelry Thieves / Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the two unidentified females who are seen in the attached photos and video and are sought in connection with a grand larceny pattern within the confines of the 68th Precinct. Details are as follows:

Incident #1: It was reported to police that on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at approximately 1425 hours, in front of 877 67th Street, a 84-year-female was approached by two individuals who exited a white SUV and proposes a trade. Individual#1 places a necklace around the victim’s neck while Individual#2 removes the victim’s necklace valued at $1500 before fleeing in an SUV.

Incident #2: It was reported to police that on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at approximately 1330 hours, in front of 740 64 Street, a 68-year-old female was walking westbound on 64 Street when she was approached by two individuals who propose a trade. Individual#1 wraps a neck around her wrist while Individual#2 removes the victim’s bracelet valued at $1000 and then fled.
