MORRIS HEIGHTS, Bronx – A pair of shootings took place within a single block, at around 9:45 PM, Friday, October 5, 2018. NYPD responded to the first incident, at the corner of West 174 and Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd, in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx. Moments later, police responded to the second shooting at West 174 and Popham Avenue. Unknown if any victims. NYPD ESU units called to the scene to aid in the crime scene investigation. Unknown if the shooter(s) is in police custody.
