ALLERTON, Bronx – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Saturday around 4:30 am. This happened at Bronx Park East & Southern Blvd in the confines of the 49 Precinct. The driver stayed on scene. The victim was transported in serious but stable condition to an area hospital. NYPD Highway was requested to conduct an investigation. Upon further investigation at the hospital, police canceled the investigation due to the victim’s stable condition. No criminality is suspected and no arrests have been made.
