COLTON, CALIFORNIA – Colton PD responded to a truck that crashed into a ditch in an open field in the 220 Block of Maryknoll Dr. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a pickup truck that had driven off the road into a field and down into a ditch. The driver and occupants fled the scene. Cases of beer could be seen around and in the truck. According to witnesses at scene, the truck was driving around the area at a high rate of speed with loud music playing. The truck then proceeds to drive into an empty dirt lot and crashed in a ditch. At that time 4 occupants fled the scene on foot. Colton PD is investigating the crash.
