Necklace Snatched from 70 Year Old Woman in Bronx

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached video and is sought in connection with a robbery within the confines of the 52nd Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 1425 hours inside of Bronx Pawn Brokers located at 301 Kingsbridge Road, an unidentified male entered, approached the victim, a 71-year-old female, grabbed her by the neck and snatched her necklace. The unidentified male fled to a black SUV with the necklace, which was valued at $400. The victim suffered lacerations to her neck, however, she refused medical attention.

Video is attached. The black SUV seen in the exterior footage is not the vehicle that the unidentified male fled in. That vehicle was parked beyond camera range.
