Near Porter Ranch: Browns Canyon Fire

At 1:16 AM a brush fire was reported near Browns Canyon Rd between Porter Ranch and Deer Lake Highlands. It burned about 2-3 acres in medium brush before fire crews arrived. A quick response by LAFD and LACoFD ground and air crews led to a quick containment of the flames even with the only access being a dirt road. Ventura County Fire crews were also on scene to provide a No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
