FONTANA / El Monte – Sometime after 11:30 PM Fontana PD was behind a stolen vehicle that fled from officers and then got onto the westbound 210 Fwy leaving the city of Fontana continuing west into LA County. The suspect continued westbound on the 210 freeway through multiple cities at speeds reaching 90 mph. Fontana PD stayed with the pursuit all the way to the city of Pasadena. The suspect exited the 210 freeway and then got back eastbound on the 210 freeway where Baldwin Parks CHP took over the pursuit. The suspect continued eastbound on the 210 freeway taking the southbound 605 freeway and then taking the westbound 10 freeway into the city of El Monte. The suspect continued through the streets of El Monte and sometimes ran red lights. The suspect vehicle continued northbound Santa Anita Avenue at Bryant Rd where Baldwin Park CHP conducted the ”PIT” maneuver causing the suspect to hit a tree and a sprinkler system and finally losing control. The suspect exited the vehicle and CHP officers were able to take the suspect into custody. he was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
