Mountain Lion Caught In OC | TUSTIN, CA 12.26.20

TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA – A homeowner received a text message early this morning about a mountain lion that was wandering the neighborhood and managed to enter into her backyard. The Department of Fish & Wildlife were called out along with support from the Orange County Sheriff Dept to help trap and tranquilize the big cat. The wildlife officer managed to hit the big cat with two doses and sedate the mountain lion enough to remove it from the backyard and transport it to the Cleveland National Forest area. No other animals were hurt and no other injuries were reported thanks to the tremendous efforts of the two agencies working together.
