SAN BERNARDINO – Mother’s Day Saturday May 10th 2020, Two persons were declared deceased on scene of a traffic collision. The fatal collision occurred around 9:30pm on Tippecanoe avenue, near Harry Sheppard Blvd. Per the fire department dispatch, a Stater Brothers Market security officer, and a San Manuel casino public safety officer rescued a passenger from one of the vehicles involved after the car caught on fire. Initial information suggests one of the deceased parties was ejected. A large palm tree was struck and completely knocked down. One car can be seen with major damage.
Further details have not been made available to me at this time.
San Bernardino Police Department is on scene conducting the investigation. Tippecanoe avenue is closed in both directions between Rialto avenue and Harry Sheppard blvd.
