SAN PEDRO, CALIFORNIA – A car slammed into an apartment building, going halfway into a kitchen. The car had jumped the curb, went through a wall, and into the building. The crash damaged a retaining wall and nearly missed a support beam. Nobody was injured, however the tenant in the affected apartment said off-camera that one of his two cats went missing after the crash. The female driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating with police. It is not known if DUI is a factor. The apartment was yellow-tagged by an Building & Safety.
