MIRA LOMA: On Sunday June 17th, Around 10:00pm, Riverside County Fire Department, along with Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a traffic collision in the 10200 block of Country Village Rd, Involving a vehicle into a hydrant. Upon arrival, first responders found a sheared hydrant, and solo occupant male subject trapped inside the vehicle. The Fire Department performed a Cut & Rescue, and was able to remove the patient from the vehicle. The patient was transported via ambulance to a local area hospital in an unknown condition. According to a witness, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control, heading the wrong direction, and collided with the hydrant. The accident is under investigation.
