ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA – LASD Industry Station attempted to pull over a vehicle for driving recklessly. The gray Mercedes did not stop and a pursuit started. The suspect got on to the NB 605 fwy and to the EB 210 fwy. LASD had an air unit overhead of the pursuit. The suspect continued EB 210 fwy and exited Mountain Ave in the city of Upland. The Suspect continued southbound on Mountain Avenue to the 10 fwy. The suspect got onto the eastbound 10 fwy at Mountain Avenue. CHP had the freeway closed eastbound 10 fwy due to the officer involved shooting that occurred earlier in the day at Euclid Ave. The suspect almost struck a CHP officer that was handling that investigation. The suspect continued eastbound on the 10 fwy and exited the freeway. The suspect drove into an apartment complex at 916 Deodar St and 11th st where he then got into a second vehicle and left the location. The Ontario air unit was overhead and never lost sight of the suspect an was able to point the vehicle out to officers. The suspect was taken into custody after the 2nd vehicle stopped.
