MARION: Death Investigation

MARION, Iowa (LoudLabs CR) – On 12/19/2018, at approximately 4:15 PM, Marion Police and Fire was dispatched to Azure Apartments in Marion for a possible death. A large law enforcement presence was quickly established in the area, and a body was found in an apartment on the second floor of a building in the complex. EMS and MFD personnel were quickly released from the scene while Marion PD began their investigation. Area Ambulance returned to the scene at approximately 6:00 PM to remove the deceased from the scene. Marion Police is still investigating at this time.
