POMONA – Pomona Pd along with Los Angeles County Fire responded to a car fire at a building near W 1st St. and Oak Ave. The fire department was able to put out the fire and found it did damage to the nearby building. They made entry into the building to check for fire or smoke inside. Once inside the warehouse they located a marijuana grow inside the building. Pomona Pd immediately closed off the area and now a crime scene. Officers estimate there is about 800 plants inside. One dog was found on the property and put in a room safely until animal control arrived and could retrieve it. Bags of marijuana could be seen being taken out and put in police trucks.
