MANHATTAN: Times Square Slasher Resists Arrest

MIDTOWN, Manhattan – A brawl between street dancers ended with someone slashed in the back of the head in the middle of Times Square. This happened at 12:15 am Friday in the confines of the 14 Precinct (Midtown South). Seven suspects were arrested. The victim was transported in stable condition to Bellevue hospital. One of the seven suspects came back to the crime scene where he was arrested with heavy resistance. “Why am I being detained?!” he yelled repeatedly. NYPD evidence collection team and detectives were on scene investigating.
