FINANCIAL DISTRICT, Manhattan – An MTA worker got his leg stuck in the escalator early Wednesday morning around 1:30 am. Witnesses on scene dialed 911 and did what they could do to help until first responders arrived. FDNY, ESU, and EMS responded and rescued the worker. He was an elderly male who was removed in a stretcher and appeared to be in serious condition. Another MTA worker was involved as well, and he was able to walk to the ambulance with assistance, unknown what his injury was.
