MANHATTAN: Fire at Serbian Consulate

UPPER EASTSIDE, Manhattan – At about 8:30 PM, Sunday evening, December 9, 2018, a fire broke out on the upper floors of 850 Fifth Avenue, between East 66 and 67 Sts., which is home to the Serbian Consulate, and quickly went to two alarms. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. 850 Fifth Avenue, a Landmarked building, sits opposite Central Park on the world-famous Museum Mile.
