EAST HARLEM, Manhattan – A fire started at 158 E 110 St around 3:50 pm in the confines of the 23 Precinct. There were initial reports of a lady on a fire escape with a baby. The fire quickly escalated to a three-alarm fire. One lady was critically injured in the fire and transported to an area hospital. Four firefighters suffered minor injuries. The fire was placed under control at 5:15 pm. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
