Man wanted for Anti-Asian Hate Crime at Manhattan subway station #stopasianhate

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual in connection to an assault (Hate Crime) within the confines of the 7th Precinct. The following has been reported to police:

On Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at approximately 2050 hours, the individual attacked the 56 year-old Asian male victim by punching him in the face, rendering him unconscious, as he was entering the East Broadway and Rutgers Street “F” train subway station. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of a laceration to his lip, a black eye, and swelling to his head.
