FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – A man reported to have stabbed someone in Huntington Beach led police on a pursuit that ended in Fountain Valley. The man lost control of his vehicle and crashed leaving his truck sideways on the street. The man then did not want to come out of his truck and it took crisis negotiators over two hours to get him out of the vehicle. The man was taken out of the truck after throwing the knife from the truck. He was arrested and taken to UCI for an evaluation. A peaceful ending to a pursuit standoff that could have ended very differently.
