Man Stabbed in Mouth, Died at Hospital | East New York, Brooklyn

5.29.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (DCPI) – On Thursday, May 28, 2020 at approximately 2355 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in the vicinity of 417 Newport Street, within the confines of the 75 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a male was stabbed in the mouth following a dispute near the corner of Newport Street and Van Sinderen Avenue. The 29-year-old male victim was removed from the scene prior to the arrival of police, and transported, via private means, to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
