DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – LAPD got a report of a man that had been shot in front of a PETCO near the intersection of 9th St and S Hope St in Downtown LA. LAFD found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest and was declared dead at the scene. LAPD taped off the area and started searching the area for evidence and possibly any cameras that might have captured the shooting. The streets were very busy during the shooting, no
one else was hit by the gunfire. No further information available. LAPD Central Division is handling the investigation.
