WESTMONT, CALIFORNIA – At least one person was shot in the chest near the intersection of Century Blvd and Van Ness Ave around 11:45pm in the Westmont area. The victim collapsed in front of a local donut shop where LAPD and LAFD found him. A second person that was with the shooting victim was also looked at and appeared to be in pain but is believed not to have been shot. The shooting victim was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
