Man shot dead, another slashed by machete

PROSPECT PARK SOUTH, Brooklyn – 1 man shot dead, another slashed inside an apartment building located at 550 Ocean Ave at 10:47 p.m. The male friends were having a dispute when another male brandished a firearm and shot another male in the leg and lower back. Unknown how another male suffered lacerations, who was removed in a stair chair with blood visible on him. Both victims were transported in stable condition to local hospitals.
