CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – 4:45pm CMPD & MEDIC responded to a shooting at 9001 Nations Ford Road. Officers from Steele Creek Division arrived and found a victim in the parking lot of Street Concepts & Car Audio shot 5 times. Police immediately established a crime scene. MEDIC transported the victim with life threatening injuries to the trauma center at Atrium Carolinas Medical Center. A bullet hole could be seen in the door jam of the Car Audio Shop. 9-10 Shell casing markers scattered the parking lot. Sources say the victim appears to have been gunned down near a white pickup truck. CSI units with CMPD could be seen marking various shell casings and photographing the scene. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle.
