9.1.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | CROTONA, Bronx – A man was critically shot in a vehicle. It happened at 1:45 am Tuesday at Prospect Ave between Fairmont Pl & Elsmere Pl. That is when the male was shot multiple times in his 2019 Volkswagen, then rolling down the street and coming to a rest possibly after colliding with a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, police rushed an ambulance to the location. EMS treated the 29-year-old male for a gunshot wound to the hip and rushed him to St. Barnabas hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
