Thunder storms caused flash floods that closed down Hwy 18 Friday afternoon between Lucerne Valley and Big Bear. The flash floods were first reported around 1:15 PM. No injuries were reported but numerous drivers were stranded. The roadway was closed in both directions for Cal Trans clean up efforts.
