RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA – 3:00 AM on Saturday October 17, 2020 Riverside City Fire and CHP were dispatched to a traffic collision on the southbound 215 HOV to the Eastbound 60 transition. On arrival, firefighters located two vehicles with major front end damage. With further inspection, it was discovered that one of the vehicles involved was driving the wrong way in the HOV lane and hit a vehicle head on. The driver of the wrong way vehicle fled the scene prior to CHP arriving. The victims on the second vehicle were unharmed and were not transported.
